My
site is split into two sections this is the WEB Page Download Center it is not
the FTP server. If You paid MORE than $5.00 in a payment to me you are in the
WRONG
PLACE. Please get in contact me if you are at a loss and
need more help. I will be more than happy to phone you and assist you in any way
I can.
For
a free test run please ask for a starter account, which will
give you 1 hour to download for free from the site.
Within these pages you can download Old Time Radio shows in
MP3 format without having to use an FTP program. The cost is
only $4.00 (subscrption) or $5.00 (month to month) per month
for unlimited downloading.
All
ROTRS web pages and OTR shows are hosted on my own server. Paying for the cost
of server is the main goal of this site, not making a profit. By you becoming
a member I can continue to pay those costs and bring you all the OTR shows you
can download.
The
speed of the site is shared with the FTP server. Your download Speed will depend
on how many users are using both the Web Page Download Area and the FTP server.
The DOWNLOAD CENTER is Throttled back so that the FTP side gets the majority of
the bandwidth. They pay a much higher price for downloading and pay the majority
of the expenses this site acquires each month. As the CONTROL CENTER begins to
grow and pays for itself, I will increase the bandwidth to allow for the increased
traffic. In any case, please understand that at times of high traffic your downloading
speeds will vary and can be quite slow. I make no guarantee as to the number of
shows you can actually download per month nor do I guarantee what download speed
you will download at. It all depends on how busy the DOWNLOAD CENTER is when you
log on.
